The water is deionised using a mutistage filtering and reverse osmosis setup before being passed through a special resin to remove the final impurities. Pure water has solvent like cleaning qualities as it strives to return to it's naturally impure state by absorbing any dirt it comes into contact with. This means that less chemicals are needed and when rinsed will self dry to a spot and streak free finish. Trust me seeing is believing. No longer is there any need to leather dry which is the major potential cause of swirl marks. Filtration systems like mine are expensive both in terms of initial outlay and ongoing maintainance so impractical for most car enthusiasts and indeed there are not many valeters who have yet taken the plunge.
